The OceanThere I sat on the sandy beach, Watching waves crash within my reach. I closed my eyes breathing in salty air, Wind blowing soft on my skin fair. Gathering speed, whip in disguise, Whispering - Talking, all many lies Whimpering and crying as the sun goes down, The tide coming in, a crashing sound. Fingers digging deeply into warm sand, A beautiful dangerous sea so was this land. Cold water reached up chilling my toes, Gathering height up to my nose.
